It's very difficult for me to have Southwestern food without guacamole, possible, but difficult. I like this version of guacamole, stripped down to the bare essentials. Feel free to make additions to your preference, such as chopped tomato, green pepper, or onion.
| 1 | AvocadoCut in half, seed removed, a flesh spooned out into small mixing bowl | |
| 1 | tbsp | Lime JuiceOr about a half a lime, squeezed |
| 1 | dash | SaltReally adds allot |
| 1 | dash | White PepperAdds allot, as with the salt |
| 1 | clove | GarlicMinced |
| 1 | With a fork, mash the avocado flesh so that is quite smooth, or somewhat chunky if preferred. |
| 2 | Add the minced garlic, salt and pepper, and finally the lime juice. |
| 3 | Mix well. |
| 4 | Simply delicious. |
